Threads of Comfort
Bereavement Crafts
Threads of Comfort is a gentle gathering for adults (16+) who carry the weight of loss. Whether your grief is fresh or has been with you for years. Here, hands and hearts come together in quiet creativity. You might craft in memory of someone you love or help fill our Glimmer Boxes, small parcels of care for grieving families. Whatever you make, this is a space to breathe, to share, and to find solace in the simple act of creating.

What to Expect
• A small, informal circle (4–10 people)
• A warm welcome from Tracy, with occasional guest crafters
• Time to make and mend, no experience needed
• Gentle moments of reflection and remembrance
• Tea, coffee, and biscuits to nourish body and soul
Why We Gather
Threads of Comfort is more than a craft group. It is a tapestry of memory, love, and hope woven together in every stitch, every shared story, every quiet moment. Here, we create not just with our hands, but with our hearts, finding comfort for ourselves and offering it to others.

The Path to Hope Community Programme is about ensuring that our community experts can earn a living whilst helping ensure that the community can access quality support and services. Money should not be a barrier to accessing mental health community support so therefore, limited free or subsidised spaces are available for those most in need. Donations are also welcome. If you feel you would benefit from this support, please reach out to the community partner.
