FRESH LITTLE MINDS GROW COACH & EDUCATOR TRAINING 2024

Fresh Little Minds Programmes are based upon The AMBER Approach and it’s our charity’s core value to spread the joy and positive impact of AMBER. It is our vision to support as many children as possible to connect with their inner guidance and strengths as they navigate life through putting these powerful tools in the hands of change makers. We Want children to orientate towards life, to know their pathway and to have the tools, mindset and resilience to thrive.

The AMBER Approach and Fresh Little Minds Programmes have been evaluated by Queens University Belfast which celebrates in evidence the strength of The AMBER Approach for children and as a tool for those working with children and those working with parents. The evidence demonstrates the approach and programmes to be accessible and successful for all children. This includes children who are impacted by emotional distress, grief, loss and change. AMBER supports children to navigate their inner and outer world.

There are a number of onboarding coach & practitioner programmes available, all of these programmes include THE AMBER Approach Advanced Practitioner Training:

  • Fresh Little Minds SUNRISE Coach Training (School based coaches working with children aged 6-8yrs coach pathway begins here)

The Coach training takes place with small groups of practitioners, only those passionate about this work are considered as a coach and we can only support those who have an established avenue to cascade this work locally with children and parents who need it most.

If you are ready to embrace The AMBER Approach and incorporate Fresh Little Minds Programmes for Children or Parents into your community, school or place of work we would love to hear from you. Your Journey Begins Here.

  • If a school or group has a team that they would like trained onsite, then it will be much cheaper for FME to provide this training for your school or organisation. We have had many organisations choose this route to help keep costs down and train more people to deliver this wonderful programme. If that is of interest to you let us know and we will set up a meeting to discuss your school or organisation’s needs.
  • If you are an individual, the outlay can appear expensive, but it is much much cheaper than the industry standards and the licence is currently being offered as a lifetime licence – so no monthly or annual fees. Our charity has decided to drop monthly and annual licence fees to help those of you who work with children who are less fortunate. Fresh Minds want to empower you to deliver this programme without the commercial concern of licence fees.
  • Schools and community groups currently pay facilitators anything in the range of £100-£250 per session to deliver the programme and there are 6-8 sessions to the programme, so for those delivering independently or for schools who would usually buy in expertise, the outlay is very quickly recuperated.
  • Your fee also includes £300 worth of facilitation resources plus 3 facilitator manuals and hospitality during the two days.
  • Our charity has no licence fees to reduce ongoing costs for those of you who work with children who are less fortunate. Fresh Minds want to empower you to deliver this programme without the commercial concern of licence fees.
  • The only follow up cost for Fresh Little Minds GROW is for the resources that you are required to purchase for each child who takes part in your FLM programme. The children’s packs come in handy sets of 30 to suit most standard class sizes and truly enhance the experience with proven lasting benefits for the children taking part. These resources are brilliant value at £4.50 per child and includes a Fresh Little Minds GROW Passport (A6), FLM children’s Certificate(A4), and A3 Poster and a Children’s You are Awesome Sticker.
  • Fresh Minds uses any income generated by this programme to support bereaved children.

*Lifetime licences are conditional on the following requirements: 1) The FLM Programme you are licensed to deliver must be delivered a minimum of once annually 2) FLM Coaches must purchase participation packs for children and parents taking part on every programme 3) The assigned FLM Coach Licence agreement to be returned, professional standards and programme fidelity complied with 4) No criminal record which would impede a FLM Coach to work legally and safely with children, young people or vulnerable adults 5) The charity’s continued operational support of the programme
