Linda Warwick

Linda’s background is in Childcare and Education, having over 30 years experience working with ages birth – 12yrs in day nurseries, pre-school/after-school settings in community groups/education authority. They have also had 5 years experience as a Day Nursery Manager, managing 30 staff and 120 children. They worked as a Bereavement Volunteer in a bereavement organisation supporting bereaved children/young people/adults from 2010 – 2024 and then paid employment from 2015 – 2021.

They are an associate Counsellor for FME, and other counselling organisations providing 1 – 1 therapy for children/young people and adults using a variety of therapeutic interventions. They co-deliver ‘Got Your B.A.C.K. Bereavement Support For Young People’ in schools with FME. I am a Macmillan Professional working as Lived Experience Development Lead with Macmillan Psychosocial Service NI in partnership with Mind Wise, supporting individuals, carers, family members on their cancer journey.

They strive to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for clients to explore their feelings and challenges. They strive to empower my clients helping them build their own coping skills and solutions to provide independence and growth.
