REDUCED FUNDS - AN ABUNDANCE OF HOPE

Reduced funds means that we have more to do with fewer people and it puts pressure on us all. We will be working behind the scenes during the Summer to ensure that we have a programme of support and assistance for the community from Autumn onwards. Please connect with us if you can fundraise or provide back office support this Summer.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

πŸ’œ We have now supported our 206th family for bereavement support which we have offered through:

πŸ“ž immediate assistance calls supporting families navigating death and dying with children

πŸ‘ͺ 1:1 family support (parent & child 8 weeks of support)

πŸ‘± 1:1 teen support (8 weeks of counselling and mental health coaching)

πŸ“¦ bereavement support boxes (immediate assistance call, tailored resources and wrap around support for families with bereaved children and teens)

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« supportive phone calls, training and resources for local schools, youth workers and other caregivers supporting bereaved children

πŸ‘₯ group activities & peer support

We raise funds through service delivery, shop sales and donations, but despite our efforts, we haven't raised enough this year to continue offering this service, leaving families on our waiting lists.

We're working on funding applications with young people to secure future support. If you care about bereaved children and young people or are one of the many thousands of people, families, or communities that we have helped over the past number of years, with suicide prevention training, resilience training, direct 1:1 support, please help us by fundraising, providing suggestions or taking 2 minutes to fill out this survey to let us know if our services are still needed.

πŸ’œ Your support is crucial to keep our doors open and continue changing lives.

If you are looking to connect with us you will find us out and about during June at these places:

13th June afternoon

Michelle will be at the Causeway Pride Event at Portrush Town Hall.

17th & 18th all day

Mary, Michelle and Jane will be at the Action Trauma Summit Belfast
