Rachel Moore
I am currently a psychology student studying at Queens University.
I thoroughly enjoy learning how to support people and interventions that can be made to make difficult situations throughout individuals lives easier.
My hope for this charity is that the resources and support they provide for children can continue to carry on.
The work that this charity provides supporting families as a whole is so beneficial and a great aid in completing an overall support system for families, so both the children and parents know what is going on.
I hope that I can support this charity in any way that I can in the future to ensure people are getting the support they need.
I will be helping to create resources for people that are experiencing emotional distress. Although I am only in this placement for a short period of time I hope that I can contribute as much as I can and include different perspectives to benefit as many people as possible
I personally have gone through experiences which I needed support from many people around me, these times in my life have greatly influenced me to work towards being someone that can provide the best support and guidance in whatever way they may need.
This charity has many kind individuals creating resources and different ways to ensure people have access to support and feel heard and understood and that is something I feel is extremely important
In my free time I love to be around my friends either going out for coffee or a fun night out. I am also a very strong animal lover and adore taking my dogs for walks and spending time with them. My family is a big part of my life, so a big family dinner with everyone around is my favourite thing!
I am most grateful for how close and loving my family and all my friends are around me. The time I got to spend with my grandparents was so special to me and they are what inspired me to work towards helping others and families.
I am so grateful for the support my family gives me to accomplish each of my goals
