BEREAVEMENT & RESILIENCE SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

FME aims to provide a supportive service that offers immediate support, advice and guidance for young children who are navigating bereavement, loss and mental health difficulties and develop the capacity of parents & carers, and those working with them.  

LGT is a psychoeducation, play based therapeutic intervention for carers or parents to attend with their children. The process lasts for 8 sessions delivered over consecutive weeks and is attended by both parent and child.

Parents receive additional wrap around support at the beginning and end of the programme.

Currently FME offer this service based in Antrim with an outreach service available in Toome, Ballyclare and a pop-up service that can be booked into any school or community group province wide.

Fresh Minds Education ensure knowledge of the opportunities are cascaded through attending, presenting at, sharing and hosting the Children and Young People’s strategic Partnership (CYPSP) networks throughout the year locally, trust wide and province wide.
